Galaxy 5 and S6 Plus Edge: leaked details on AnTuTu

Galaxy 5, S6 Plus Edge

With the official presentation of the Galaxy 5 Galaxy and S6 Plus Edge just around the corner, the information on the next two phablets Samsung continueto leak. Although we have recently heard a lot of rumors and saw lots of leaks on the hardware specifications of the two upcoming smartphones, we never had a definitive and credible evidence.

While you can make a complete analysis of the performance only after the official release of Galaxy and Galaxy 5 S6 + Edge, it seems that AnTuTu, the company behind the popular application benchmark, has just published some very interesting details.

According to a recent blog post on AnTuTu, the Galaxy and the Galaxy 5 S6 +Edge will share most of the most important specifications, as the 7420 Exynos processor, 4 GB RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, a main camera and a 16MP 5MP front. As expected, AnTuTu argues that both smartphones will run Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

According to AnTuTu, the only major difference between the two handsets will display size: the Galaxy 5 Notes will have a 5.7-inch display, while the Galaxy S6+ Edge will have a 5.5 inches, both with a resolution of 2560 by 1440 pixels.

Antutu also contends that the Samsung Galaxy 5 Notes has scored points, whereas 69,702 Galaxy S6 + Edge seems to have obtained a score of 68,345 points.

If the specifications provided by AnTuTu will prove to be accurate, then the only difference between Samsung smartphones coming soon will be an additional 1 GB of RAM for the Galaxy 5 Notes.
