Halo 5 won't have the split-screen

It was mentioned that halo 5 would not have supported the split-screen, developer of 343 industries explained the reasons.

In a post written by "Halo waypoint", the developer explained the reasons that led to this choice.'

"The decision of non-support for split-screen for halo 5 was one of the most difficult decisions to be taken for study," said Josh Holmes. "We know the importance of this function for many halo fans, who have played a long time in the same room with his friends".

"To bring to a higher level the gameplay of Halo and 5 to make the jump to thenext gen was a choice to make," he added. "Our decision was taken by the desire to respect and focus on the best possible experience."

"The scale setting, a better view and better artificial intelligence were not possible with the split-screen view".

"Many of our ambitions were shattered by the addition of split-screen functionality, and you do not have to enter allowed us to focus on more important issues," he said. "The development of a video game is a balancing ofresources, time and technology, and in this case we had to sacrifice somethingto get all this."

Please note that Halo 5 will be released on October 27, exclusively on Xbox One.
